slats
I'm comfortable going into 2010 with Eric Smith, James Ihedigbo and a safety we take in the 4th or 5th round duking it out for the FS spot if it means we can shore up our needs at DE, slot receiver, and/or nickle corner earlier in the draft. They'll go BAP in this draft, and lean towards the positions you mentioned, IMHO. FS is not the need that people are trying to make it out to be. With the addition of Cromartie, the Jets added a CB who'll be expected to lock down on teams' #2 WR's. I think he can do that. That makes the pass rush better; because the QB will take longer to throw, and the Jets will have even more freedom to blitz. And it makes the safeties job easier, because they won't be asked to do as much in coverage. Jets need a 3-4 DE before anything else on dee, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went CB before that. They also seem to understand that Sanchez needs weapons, so WR will (hopefully) be something of a priority, too.
