Jetman_67
Last night in the 8th inning everyone in my section was obnoxious over a 1-0 lead. They trash Arod all night long. Then Arod scores the tying run and drives in the winning run. They were like stunned. Dont they realize that the Mariners really have no business playing on the same field as the Yankees? One guy got really pissed when I referred to the M's as a Minor League team!!!! Then he got more pissed when I was able to back up my comments. Jetman_67
They love east coast people that dump on their teams? No wonder they crack you up. Hemp Fest???...........no, don't think so. Beer Fest? ....I'll sign up. I was talking with a M's fan at a business function last night. I told him that if they would pay some $$$ to keep a core together, they would be perennial contenders. They are the best in baseball at developing talent. so Im not dumping on their team. Just giving the real facts. That is the difference between the Yankees and other teams. If the owners would pay the money they would be a damn good team. Any player would want to play here. Seattle is a great city.
