vanDoug
Well this is what I've been asking for. Funny, when it happens it's almost a little sad. A great career all in all.
vanDoug
Surely these bums will win todays game for him right?
NJ
Well this is what I've been asking for. Funny, when it happens it's almost a little sad. A great career all in all. It really was Doug ... Lou's short comings didn't include effort, intensity, or love for the game of baseball. He was a good tactician when he had the right chemistry on the team. He was clueless as to how to generate it ... actually clueless as to the need for it.

vanDoug
Nice send off, losing 16-5. Kind of sums these bums up doesn't it?
billybroome
Personally I owe Lou a debt of gratitude. He managed Cincinnati in 1990 after coming from the Yankees. leading the Reds in 1st place in a wire to wire division win, while sweeping the AL's Oakland A's for the World Series title. Via Con Dios Lou. I will always respect you.
