Jetsfan80
Is LT an every down back? Sanchez needs a Wes Welker. No, and he doesn't need to be. The Jets don't have a Welker, but consider this. When Sanchez first arrived, his receiving corps had Chansi Stuckey as his # 2 receiver. Now, he has Santonio Holmes (starting week 5), Braylon Edwards, Jerricho Cotchery, Dustin Keller, LaDaninian Tomlinson, and I even hear John Conner has the capability to catch a pass or two. BIG difference.
Larz
You're reading way too much into my post. 53 man roster, top to bottom, the pats* and steelers, both had "far less" talent ? "far less" nah, you can't fool me
Apache 51
Brady and Roethlisberger won Super Bowls in their 2nd year with far less talented teams than what the Jets have now. Short......They didn't win it they were only part of it, Ben played like $hit, and Brady had his kicker bail him out if I recall, no? or was that the 2nd one too? As far as talent goes, I don't think so. That's talent on paper Taylor, LT. Jets offense still has a 2nd year running back, whose consistency remains to be seen, an issue at LG, and a young QB still learning. These are the players that are key in getting the ball to yes a talented yet somewhat inconsistent receiver core.
