The driver who allegedly ran a red light and plowed into the car of New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady has a six-page rap sheet loaded with traffic violations, accidents and license suspensions, the Boston Herald reported Friday.

Ludgero Rodrigues, 21, was driving the van that collided with Brady's Audi S8 Thursday morning. He had racked up so many citations that he was forced to take a driving class in 2008 and had just gotten his license back in June from his latest suspension, the Herald said.

Rodrigues' laundry list of violations included refusing to take a breathalyzer test during a 2009 accident, speeding and driving with a suspended license in 2008 and five citations of driving with "improper equipment" dating back to 2006.

Brady, who reportedly had the green light when the vehicles collided, escaped from the wreck without injury.

A 49-year-old passenger in Rodrigues’ Mercury Villager minivan was removed from the crumpled vehicle by firefighters using the "Jaws of Life." He was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, police said.

Brady, whose Audi sustained heavy front-end damage, refused treatment at the scene and headed to Gillette Stadium where he practiced with the team. He declined to speak to reporters Thursday, but a team spokesman said the gridiron great was in good shape.
