Last week on Christmas Eve, midnight shift took a report from a single mom who had her daughter's wrapped Christmas presents stolen from her apartment building storage locker. My shift & the DB pitched in and got her a gift card in the amount of her loss, so she could replace them all. It feels nice to do something like that, but you still want to get your hands on the thief and beat their a$$.
