Jets RG Brandon Moore (hip surgery) will not be ready for the start of training camp.

Moore is "not sure" of his timetable for recovery. The 31-year-old mauling guard had surgery in early February, so he's now over five months removed from the operation. There's been no discussion of Moore beginning the season on PUP.

Jets’ Brandon Moore’s Rehab is Going As Planned

Mar31

2011 Written by Paul Jackiewicz New York Jets guard Brandon Moore has been rehabbing from off-season hip surgery and is on track with his rehab despite his inability to rehab at the teams facility.

Moore was able to set up plans to work out at an outside facility before the NFL lock out began. The Jets head trainer John Mellody helped him get set up with the outside source.

Moore isn’t running yet but he is able to walk and ride a bike, as well as do strength conditioning excercises.

His recovery time is three to six months and he believes he will be set to go for training camp.
