  1. I am headed to extensive treatment next week and although I have said it before, I think it is best I take a long break from the forum. Life is stressful enough and @Maxman made some good points to me privately, why it might be best to just rid myself of the stress. I try to stay positive but I also have bad days. In the end, I probably won’t be around to see a 2024 season. So I was hoping for the best in 2023. Doesn’t appear that’s going to happen. So here is what I see for 2024 and beyond. Before I say that, I don’t have much hope for 2023 (not sure anyone does). We all know Tim Boyle is no savior. I do hope he does well, but his history shows he is worse than Zach Wilson. That’s not an easy task, in itself. I see 2024 with a new head coach for the Jets and it will be Jeff Ulbrich. I think he will get a lot of attention from other teams and in lieu of losing him altogether and appeasing the fanbase, Robert Saleh will be fired. Ulbrich will continue to call the defensive plays and Nathaniel Hackett will stay on as OC until Aaron Rodgers retires. Can’t see any way Aaron let’s Hackett get fired. I believe The Jets will have a top 10 pick and will take an OL. I see the Jets and JD taking one big shot at a Super Bowl in 2024 and trading a 2025 1st round pick for Davante Adams. Becton will not be resigned. Breece and Izzy will lead the RB room and Ruckert and Conklin will make up the TE positions. Huff will sign a big deal somewhere else, opening up more playing time for WMc and JJ on the ends. Finally Zach will not get another year and will be released, opening up a backup spot to the Jets 3rd or 4th round DP to learn under Rodgers with Tim Boyle headed back to Hartford to coach the UConn Huskies JV team. As for me, I will spend my time with my family. Retired from the season tickets that I am not renewing, but watching and hoping to possibly see a Super Bowl, though it likely wont happen (for me, at least). I was 3 when the Jets won their Super Bowl. My dad was always a fan of the underdog. Thus I am a Jets, Mets, Nets, and Islanders fan and the reason I never gave up on the much maligned Zach Wilson. The more he was attacked, the more I wanted him to do good. Just who I am. Dumb but loyal. Be well, my fellow Jets fans.
  2. Woody fires everyone, including himself. The franchise folds. Rodgers signs on with the New England Patriots. Zach Wilson signs as backup. Rodgers is hurt in game 1 of the 2024 season. Zach Wilson leads the Pats to the Super Bowl.
  3. Definitely the words of a locker room cancer and an awful human being. Shoot him now, while he is still 3rd string. Don’t let him go on and ruin everyone that he infects. He must be stopped.
  4. Nope. 3rd string inactive is not good enough. We must kill him.
  5. JD - “Ok guys, we all watched the game yesterday. We understand there is going to be a lot of scrutiny from the fans and the press, if we don’t make a move at QB. Woody has given me the authority to allow you to make a switch.” Saleh - “Ok, we need to go with Trevor. He is the only logical option, to give us a chance to win.” Hackett - “Agreed” Aaron - “Guys. What is our goal here? To win or to get the highest draft pick? Tim is my guy. He is not going to give us a chance to win, allowing us to get the higher draft pick, and the fans will support it because it’s not Zach. We aren’t going to get anywhere with this offensive line. It’s not worth trying to win with Trevor. Plus I don’t need to make an excuse why I am not coming back this year. It’s a win/win/win.” Saleh - “Aaron, I want to try and make the playoffs this year. I am not giving up on the season.” Hackett - “Agreed” Aaron - “With who?” Hackett - “With you, of course.” Saleh - “Wait, what?” Hackett - “I meant, both of you. We can win with Boyle. I can make it happen.” Aaron - “Wait, what?” Hackett - “Don’t worry, Aaron. I got you.” JD - “Bobby, if we finish 6-11 or worse, we might get fired.” Hackett - “Agreed.” Aaron - “Nate, you are not getting fired.” Saleh - “Ok men. We need to make a decision. Let’s assume no one is getting fired either way, Who is our best option to win, Tim or Trevor? I am not giving up on the season. I don’t quit on a season, that’s not what I do.” Aaron - “Tim is our best option. And I like Zach being active as the #3. This way, I can hang out with him and talk about things we are seeing on the field, with really no chance of him getting on the field. Everyone will love that.” Saleh - “Why not Trevor? He has a better NFL resume.” Aaron - “Tim has more knowledge of the Hackett offense.” Hackett - “Agreed.” JD - “But Tim is worse than Zach.” Saleh - “Well, so is Trevor.” Hackett - “And so is Zach” Saleh - “Wait what?” JD - “OK Bobby. We give Tim the 1st team reps and he starts. If he sucks, we have a short leash and hand it to Trevor. Zach never sees the field.” Saleh - “OK, so how much does he have to suck? If he ZACH sucks, is that good enough or does it have to be worse?” Aaron - “What would constitute being worse, throwing negative TDs?” Hackett - “Agreed.” Aaron - “Wait what?” Hackett - “What you said.” Saleh - “I think we give Tim the Dolphins. If he is respectable, we keep him there for another game. If he’s bad, we go to Trevor.” JD - “I am sure Woody will be happy that Zach is still active.” Plus it gives us the opportunity to maybe get some kind of compensation, after the season.” Aaron - “I want Tim on the team next year. Don’t really care about anyone else.” Hackett - “What about me?” Aaron - “I meant QBs.” Hackett - “Agreed.” Saleh - “How do I deal with the Zach questions?” JD - “Not much you can say. We cannot say he is part of our future. Kevin sent me a you tube video, explaining why.” Hackett - “Who’s Kevin?” Saleh - “Just the guy who JD was gonna beat up last year and turn into a pretzel.” Hackett - “Yum” JD - “No.” Aaron - “Gluten Free?” Saleh - “WTF” JD - “Are we done?” Saleh - “Who’s telling Zach?” Aaron - “I will.” Saleh - “Ok good. Do you mind if I tell the press that I told him?” Aaron - “Sure.” JD - “OK Bobby, and you are going to tell Tim?” Aaron - “No I can tell Tim as well.” Saleh - “But…” Aaron - “You can tell Taylor.” JD - “Trevor” Aaron - “Right.”
  6. No coach EVER is going to sh*t on a guy who didn’t play well and was benched. Some wanted Saleh to say “Zach is bad, he will never make it in the NFL, might as well retire now.” The next time a coach says this, will be the first time. And if you were actually watching the press conference, Saleh was definitely referring to what they would want in their “future” QB, not the 2021 draft. Saleh and JD are fine. Saleh might have wanted Zach replaced sooner, but no way was Saleh or any coach, going to bury a kid, when he is down. Those hoping for that or hoping he wouldn’t say “we think the kid has a future in the NFL” (which is every line from every coach, talking about benching a young QB), is just ignorant and clueless to how this all works. Many of you wanted Zach buried and killed off, including Conner dirtbag. He is never going to play here again. You will have to deal with that being the end result. You aren’t going to get your wish of a public hanging.
  7. Sandy Hook never happened. Illuminati says we didn’t put a man on the moon. Gotcha. Smh
  8. I said it and got sh*t on, cut off, and banned. Good luck.
  9. He played at Eastern Kentucky too. FCS school. Not much better.
  10. Whitehead had the safety coverage over the top, but Shakir blows by Echols, as he is just standing there. Zone coverage. Sauce comes over and tries to intercept the ball. Which is why he was being blamed. After the game, he was questioned on the blown coverage and he defended himself. Maybe he just should have said nothing. But the fact is, he tried to make a play, but it wasnt his guy, underneath or over the top.
  11. The obsession with our backup QB, by the same few, is laughable. And pathetic.
