  2. And if we give up multiple picks to trade up for a DL, I'd be surprised if this board didn't explode in anger. [emoji23] Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  3. In my view, Conklin would still be the guy to start, unless Bowers outclasses him as a blocker from Day 1. This team will still be run through Breece Hall first and foremost. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

  5. I'll be surprised if he lasts till pick 72. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  6. Lol! Much like being a fly on the wall during the call to Kirk Cousins when Atlanta were on the clock. [emoji23] Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  7. He had a bad injury last year as I recall ... maybe they want to get younger / less wear and tear at that backup spot. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  8. Having one on the practice squad is ok, but if you're optimistic they'll develop into anything beyond "intern" you likely want the extra protection of the main roster. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  9. If your starter is approaching the end of his career then a 3rd QB makes a lot of sense. You need a win now backup, but also a plan for 2 years time. Jets, Falcons, those types of teams. But somewhere like Cincy or LA Chargers - Burrow / Herbert are "it", have a decent #2, no need for a #3. You're not developing their imminent replacement. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  10. We selected Tippy to be a starter as soon as possible. Anyone we get this year will get a longer timeframe, we're really only going to expect a competent backup at first. A 4th round OG who can backup, and potentially develop into a starter in 2-3 years, is perfectly fine IMO. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  11. I do reckon we'll see a very targeted approach - home in on one or two specific guys via trade up, rather than sit tight and "let the draft come to us".
  12. Why would another team want to call him? And I'm sure he has a mobile phone, or staff to take such calls.
  13. Reuter's write up on NFL.com ... and I think he was being kind.
