Jetsfan80
Seahawks | Shopping Alexander - from www.KFFL.com Thu, 10 Mar 2005 ESPN's John Clayton reports the Seattle Seahawks have notified the agent for RB Shaun Alexander that they would be willing to take less than a first-rounder in a trade for the running back. Possible suitors include the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. However, each team has a top 10 pick in the NFL Draft, which is loaded with talented ball carries, making any deal a potentially tough sell. Alexander has yet to sign his "franchise" tender from Seattle. I'd be more than willing for the Jets to give up a 2nd rounder for Alexander. Heck, we'd then have the AFC AND NFC rushing leaders on the same team.
