RSJ
if we didnt have holmes we would get maybe 40 passing yards a game all to dustin keller. If you think hill and kerley could go up against a number one cornerback on another team your mistaking but i agree with your other statements! Idk about that. Its not like Holmes has been accounting for 90% of the passing yards. Getting off the press and catching the ball have been tough for him. All in all he is not better than Hill or Kerley. jetsjetsjetss
what exactly does Holmes do ? Idk about that. Its not like Holmes has been accounting for 90% of the passing yards. Getting off the press and catching the ball have been tough for him. All in all he is not better than Hill or Kerley. he takes the other teams best corner backs and makes them focus on him. Again he is no calvin Johnson but he can get open and move the chains if we could get it to him. Also when we play the 49ers Carlos Rogers will be on holmes. He would completly shut down either kerley or hill if he didnt have to cover holmes

No one is JUST talking about last week. He has been dropping balls since he got here. Holmes is a nice little slot WR who has only one 1,000 yard season in his career. He is not a number one or even number two.

Pursuing a guy like Manningham and doing whatever it takes to move Holmes would have been ideal

I will take that bet anyday. Holmes would never make it out of training camp with the Pats.

RSJ
Leadership So is it the spouting off at the mouth outside the locker room, to the media or was it quitting on his team last year that showed you his great leadership? There is a reason the Steelers kept a rapist, a drunk driver, and a big mouth - but couldn't get Homes out of town fast enough.
