Montgomery has major character red flags. There is a wealth of DT talent as far Hankins is concerned.

Monty has one of the worst work-ethics and attitudes out of anyone to come through death valley in a long time, he's just absolute poison.  LSU's assistant and positional coaches ripped him to not only the media, but to the scouts as well. The kid is the prime example of someone who'll get paid and then you'll only get half-ass effort until his next contract year.  Liked him in his first few years, but he wasn't getting a lot of attention because you had guys like Peterson, Claiborne, Randle, Ridley drawing all the spotlight.  

 

Hankins I can't speak on more than there's a fear of him not being able to keep his weight down and eating himself out of the league.  You'd have to ask an OSU fan more for that one.

Was never high on Montgomery, but think Hankins is going to be a huge steal for someone. Especially if he goes in the 3rd round.

Yeah, Hankins is.just.one.of.those guys the Internet forgot about. Hes an excellent two gap prospect - better than guys who got more love like Brandon Williams.

Both, especially Montgomery, are more.solid than stars but it wouldn't be surprising to see them both starting by year three.
