JetBlue
I don't know much about him... Jamari Lattimore visiting Jets Posted by Josh Alper on March 18, 2015, 9:26 AM EDT Getty Images The Jets kicked off their offseason roster moves by re-signing inside linebacker David Harrisand they are taking some time to visit with another player at the position on Wednesday. Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports thatJamari Lattimore is visiting with the Jets. Lattimore spent four years with the Packers after making the team as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Lattimore made nine starts at inside linebacker over the last two years, piling up 74 tackles to go with two sacks and an interception. He replaced Brad Jones as a starter early last season, but eventually gave way toSam Barrington and moved back into a role largely made up of special teams work for the rest of the season. That could be his primary focus if he lands with the Jets as well. Harris will hold down one starting job and Demario Davis is coming off a decent year as a run stopper, although Lattimore could push him with a new coaching staff on the job for the Jets. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/18/jamari-lattimore-visiting-jets/
Sperm Edwards
So much for the argument that we were still going to draft someone who will push Harris no matter how much guaranteed $ he's making. We're already seeking a veteran backup so we don't have to burn a pick at ILB and it's still the middle of March.

And this dude is mostly a ST'er from what I've read. Had to start in a pinch as a back up but was more so a ST'er.

Sperm Edwards
5 years, $75 million sounds about right. Have it give him a big bump next year or the year after. We'll have the space in the future so we might as well use it or we'll lose it when the boogeyman comes to take it away.

Sperm Edwards
he's a ST guy He started half a season's worth of games the past couple of seasons. That says to me he's also a backup. He'd hardly be the first backup linebacker to play special teams.
