Jets to begin training camp on July 29 July 7th, 2015 3:56 pmThe Jets will start this year’s training camp on July 29, the NFL announced on Tuesday afternoon. Although they usually have different report dates, both rookies and veterans will start on the same day. Training camp this year will be held at the team’s practice facility in Florham Park, not SUNY Cortland, which had hosted the Jets since 2009. Curious to get their take on how they will accommodate fans at a facility with no bleachers or for that matter any space for fans. Where will Green & White game be held? Will fans be allowed? At one of the Town Halls, this question was asked. THe response was that they are working on setting up bleachers. No specifics on how they were going to do that without changing the geography around those fields (the fields are on a berm and there is a drop-off to the road.) The way Geno's accuracy is, guys will be plummeting down those hills into the driveway. Hope he puts up some safety fencing when Geno runs drills!
