I think we'll be seeing a CB/OL heavy 2017 draft I agree. Wouldn't be surprised if we drafted a RB and TE as well. Maybe a FS. But I would not be at all surprised if we went for a CB in the first round and followed up with an OT in the second. Having said that, I'm also excited about Burris. His skill set fits what the Jets do on defense. He's long and lanky and a prototypicla man-press corner. So far he's looked pretty good for a rookie. I love the draft and will be keeping an eye on prospect at CB and O-line coming out in 2017. We already know D.Cook is the top RB. Woudl love to get him in a Jet uniform, but, you know, priorities... jamesr
In Week 17 vs Buffalo, I specifically recall it being said that the DBs were instructed to play off-coverage so they were facing the play, and could respond to Taylor if he scrambled. They were afraid of him breaking contain and the DBs having their backs turned. And he still broke a long one on us anyway. Dalton's no scrambler, so I've no idea why they were doing it on Sunday.
