Free agency isn't off to the best start for ex-Jets cornerback Dee Milliner.

According to a report from TMZ, Milliner, whom the Jets waived/injured during cutdown day, then released from said injured reserve last week, was involved in a bar fight in Alabama over the weekend.

Milliner was reportedly at Dooley's Pub when a fight broke out early Sunday morning. Cops were called to a "large scale" disturbance at 3:56 a.m. The bar staff asked an attendee to leave, when they didn't, the fight broke out.

TMZ could not confirm if that attendee was Milliner, but Milliner was involved in the brawl "in some capacity." Two people ended up hospitalized with minor injuries. Police made no arrests.

Milliner, 25, was originally selected by the Jets with the No. 9 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. While he came to the team with high expectations, Milliner met few of them as injuries derailed his career.

As a rookie, Milliner was sidelined the majority of training camp with a high ankle sprain. In his second year, he ruptured his Achille's tendon. Last year, he tore ligaments in his wrist. This year, it was a hamstring issue that caused him to miss valuable training camp reps.

At 1-3, is it time for the Jets to turn to Geno Smith at quarterback?

After playing in 13 games as a rookie in 2013, Milliner has played in just eight of a possible 36 games since.

Because Milliner the Jets released Milliner from the IR, he is free to sign with any team of his choosing.
