Why are we so concerned with replacing Pryor immediately?

Who cares? The guy's not going to be here long term. He is however, "servicable".  If we get a trade offer, great, take it. If we have a safety fall to us...great take him. If it doesn't fall our way for the position...oh well. Pryor it is, at least for 1 more year.  We can address safety in either FA or the draft next year. I mean it's a problem, but it's only one problem. We have issues at OLB, CB, TE, QB, OL and I'd prioritize all of them over a SS.

Was Pryor ID'ed as one of the lockerroom cancers that got the team to quit?  If so...I'd get the urgency on the issue a lot more. If not...ehhh. Let him play his ass off for another contract somewhere. I don't think he's a cancer like Sheldon, but who can say for sure?

This is a good year to let as many young kids as possible earn their stripes.

Pryor is a JAG on his best day.  No harm in upgrading (or at least trying to) sooner rather than later.

If we miss Adams, hopefully Josh Jones is the fall back.

Dont sleep on Middleton. Could take a huge leap in year two. Plus athlete, plus intangibles.

I like what I saw from Middleton in his limited snaps. Appalachian State baby!
