Yes, ever sice Woody Johnson bought the team, the Jets aggregate W-L record, playoff appearances, divisional and conference championships and superbowl rings is quite impressive, the way the Johnsons have this set up. Look, this reporting structure pits the HC against the GM each and every time. Any chance for improvement or building this team is sabotaged by it. But you are right. The real culprit is not the reporting structure, but the ignorant owners they report to..... No worries... Tweedle Dumb will be returning soon to relieve Tweedle Dee.
