The team has finished with a whimper the last 3 seasons.

Zach was healthy last year.

The best-coached teams peak in December, while the worst-coached are in a tailspin by November and finish the way Saleh’s team has the last 3 seasons.

I think we all know Sideshow Bob ain’t the guy.

I’m not saying that there aren’t any good defensive head coaches. I’m saying that he isn’t one of them. He’s not “fine” to run the team. He’s a lousy head coach.

Part of being a head coach is putting together a competent staff. Saleh hired the worst OC and OL coach (he hired his buddy) in the league months before Rodgers even got here. 
 

As a larger point, even if Saleh were a decent head coach (he’s not), there is growing evidence that it is better to have an offensive head coach than a defensive head coach in today’s league. I believe 6 of the 7 teams currently in the AFC playoffs and 5 of the 7 teams currently in the NFC playoffs have offensive head coaches.
