Jets fans should know by now that defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich landed the all-important role of head coach at the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile.  This is of course great news for Ulbrich who will have a front row seat to some of the top performers in college football for a full week.

However, assistant offensive line coach Ben Wilkerson and assistant special teams coach Michael Ghobrial also landed some under the radar spots that could pay off.  Both will be working as coaches for the upcoming East/West shrine game where plenty of interesting prospects will be on hand.

😤 Here's a look at the East OL coached by Luke Stocker from the @Titans and Ben Wilkerson from the @nyjets.

A few key names Wilkerson will be working with include Illinois tackle Julian Pearl, Michigan tackle Karsen Barnhart who has played on both sides of the line and Boston College interior lineman Christian Mahogany.

@IlliniFootball left tackle Julian Pearl was a monster in the team's opener against Wyoming. @nyjets fans should be keeping a close eye on plenty of college left tackles this season. Pearl is now one I'll be watching. Four plays below. pic.twitter.com/Bp18LRnZMJ

Ghobrial will be working with Missouri kicker Harrison Mevis, Vanderbilt punter Matt Hayball and long snapper Joe Shimko of NC State.

Not excited at all to have Ulbrich be the coach at the Senior Bowl. We are talking about the man that took him...how many weeks ..to come up to put Gardner on the best opposing receiver.

Different game and different coaches.

DC Jeff Ulbrich is going to pick our next WR and OL

This isn't about Ulbrich.  Two other Jets coaches are assisting a different college all star game.

and yet we will still f up the draft

Consistency at its best

Word.  Time to release everyone they've drafted over the past four years.  Not a good player in the group.

of course there are  - as well as high profile misses.

Lets take round 1 and 2 out of it. Sustained growth comes from rounds 3-6. Look at your quality teams year over year. Funny how they all seem to find standout players in those rounds that have 8-10 year careers. Now lets look at the Jets in those rounds over the past 5-10 years.

I'll stay there

Let's take out all of the good players from rounds 1-7 while we're at it.  What a horrible job.  Not a single good player.

And those idiots who say you need to give a draft a few years before grading it?  Morons.  I build dynasties in a single afternoon on Madden.  It's not that hard.
