Bronx
Joe D will not select the next HC, it will be Woody all over it.
rex-n-effect
It's Woody so he probably tries to bring back Belichick who refuses. We end up watching another clunker DC. I think Douglas survives and picks an offense minded coach knowing they need to draft a QB. But I could see the current staff remain if Rodgers returns. The same thing can be said of the retread former HCs that Woody has hired. Of course it would be preferable to hire someone who has successful HC experience so the new HC doesn't have to do on the job training, but just as importantly, the Jets need a HC who can build a great offense, and who won't totally change the D scheme, so they don't have to start from near scratch with the D. slimjasi
A "hot assistant" first-time NFL HC (Aaron Glenn? Todd Monken??) OR a mid-tier veteran retread (Matt Nagy/Arthur Smith/maaaaybe Brian Flores?)
