JetCane Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 There were some late hits on Leon on that play, and a couple of Lions piled on, before Baker got into the act. He said he was getting Leon's back since Lions were piling on and no whistle had been blown, which he thought was really strange. The guy he got a real good shot in on was also on his way to the pile, so Chris took him out. The no whistle was prolly due to the umpire being injured on the play. He knows it was a penalty, and will take his medicine (he said) but there wasnt a whistle, and he got his guy's back. He got a nice clean shot in, too.
