124 Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 As the resident Pittsburgh basher kudos to them stepping up after Parker & Ward attacked the team for not caring and coming out and beating the now 6-3 NFC South leading Saints. Parker backed up his words rushing for I believe 204... holy hell 204!... and that is why Pittsburgh won. Kept the ball and big play decisions out of Ben Roethlisberger's hands and let him manage the game... he's over-rated as hell and I still think he sucks but he managed properly yesterday. That's the #2 team in the NFC, and the Steelers, who won't even make the playoffs, pretty much whallopped them. I think the Saints were at home too, but the bookers still favored Pitt. After watching Giants-Bears, the alleged other top teams in the NFC, I came away even less impressed. That was some seriously sloppy play. We won't play like that under Mangini.
