johnny green balls Posted March 6, 2007 Share Posted March 6, 2007 i like the trade. now i really hope the jets find a way to get blalock in the draft to shore up the oline. with chad at QB the jets need a running game in the worst way, and with the pats in the division the jets need to get bigger up front on both sides of the ball. i agree-- if blalock was next to me on a flight i would ejaculate on him. Curtis Martin throughout his latter years in a Jets uniform had to run against 8 or 9 in the box every play since nobody feared Chad Pennington and nobody fears Pennington today either. Thomas Jones will be running against plenty of 8 and 9 man fronts, lets see how he does. I think Jones is already used to running against a defense that isn't scared of his quarterback. After all, he did spend the last three years running behind QB greats suh as Chad Hutchinson, Craig Krenzel, Jonathan Quinn, Kyle Orton, Jeff Blake, and Rex Grossman.
