By Dan Leberfeld Posted Mar 27, 2007 Two New England Patriots wide receivers, Troy Brown and Chad Jackson, had knee surgeries this off-season. Both announcements were made by Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe. The Patriots, like the Jets, don't make off-season injury announcements. They barely make any during the season either. If it wasn't for the solid investigative reporting of Reiss, the news about Brown and Jackson might not have been made public.
