Lurker
The Daily News quoted Eric Mangini as saying that Chad is still the starter and nothing has changed. Could be coach-speak maybe.
Damaged89
Nah it makes sense to start Clemens now. Ergo he'll wait until we're 1-7 (an extremely likely scenario IMO) and the team has completely given up.
Lurker
When asked about Pennington's situation after Sunday's debacle, Mangini said, "Chad is the starting quarterback." "I don't have any concern," Pennington said when I asked about his job security.

NY JETS 29
It's going to take 2 more performances from Chad that mirrored Buffalo and Yesterday for him to get the hook, 1-6 may force Mangini to do so. I'm going to keep away from the QB debates all week on the board, i just dont have the energy to do it, its just frustrating and miserable being 1-4 right now and thats all I have.
