The wind was swirling and affected evry play. If the excuse is going to be that Nugent can't kick when the wind is blowing, he has no business playing in the Meadowalnds. 35 yard kicks should be made. EDIT-And, if you really wan t to analyze it, Nugent made a 33 yard FG in teh same direction earlier in the quarter. Please, lets not build excuses for players. Nugent will be fine, at least we know why Mangini went for it on 4th and 2 instead of kicking. Gimme a *****ing break. Nugent is an above average kicker at best and definitely was not worth a 2nd round pick. The Jets would be running two tight end sets right now with Chris Baker and Heath Miller if Bradway just sat and made no moves during the 2005 draft. A 1st round pick for Doug Jolley and Mike Nugent.
