faba
Reports: UCLA hires Chow to lead offense Rivals.com News Services Talk about it in the Message Boards The Los Angeles Times and several other news outlets are reporting that UCLA will name Norm Chow as offensive coordinator for the Bruins. Chow, who turns 62 in May, was recently fired by the Tennessee Titans after three seasons as offensive coordinator with the team. Chow was considered for the vacant head coaching position at UCLA before he withdrew his name from the search. The Bruins eventually hired former Colorado and Washington head coach Rick Neuheisel. Chow has served in the same capacity with Southern Cal during which time the Trojans won two national championships. Quarterbacks Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart each won a Heisman Trophy running Chow's offense. Offense has been Chow's specialty in more than 30 years of coaching in college where he has also worked with Philip Rivers, Jim McMahon and Steve Young. Scott Dierking
Neuheisel and Chow. They should have a pretty innovative offense together, if their egos can co-exist.
