TomShane
I think he rode the Olympic pub all the way to a very long career in the NHL and had a phenomenal year when they won the cup, but outside of that I always thought he was VERY average. Thoughts?
Gang Green Girl
faba: Mike Richter is a legend in NY!!!! It is a shame that his career was cut short. GGG: A nice guy, but extremely OVERRATTTTTTTTTED
stormshadow19
Mike Richter did win a Stanley Cup for the Rangers... and was one of the best goalies in the league for quie a few years. He only is thought of as overrated because his last couple seasons were injury riddled and he didn't put up very good numbers. When he was in his prime, he was one of the best in the game.
