To be fair, Maddog came on immediately following the Mets game, said that he would talk 15 minute Mets, and spend the rest of the afternoon talking Favre.

There are other sport stories in the world, and even other stories in NY. The Mets were one of those, and the FAN audience was comprised largely of Mets fans who just finished listening on the station.
