Scott Dierking
Billingsley is another of those guys that took a couple of years to find himself and get confidence in his stuff. Everyone wants an Edison Volquez or Fernando type of break out as a rookie pitcher, and they don't often happen. Pitching is a process, and you need to take your lumps. Billingley had to spend a decent part of last year in teh bullpen to get straightened out. He is the classic strong legged pitcher who allows his lower body strength to carry him through games and save wear on his arm.
Blackout
billingsley remains an unknown to lots of people who focus only on the AL East nl west is home of the best pitchers in baseball randy johnson, peavy, webb, haren, billingsley, and Mr. Tim Lincecum. 5 aces and 1 shoe-in HOF'er still playing well!
