#27TheDominator
Don't forget about...... 14. Parcells quitting on the Jets before his contract was up The list goes on and on. Worst part of that was him sticking around a year so that Mumbles ran off to get out from under the shadow. Of course with all the tampering going back and forth between the Jets and Pats he probably was ready to leave for a while there.
nyjunc
I only read the 1st page but I'll go in order since I started watching the Jets: 1981: the Bruce Harper fumble and Richard Todd to Bill Simpson. 1982: The bad call on the Miami fumble that they allowed Miami to retian possession then Miami scored their only offensive TD PLUS Richard Todd and his 5 passses to Miami players. 1983: Firing Walt Michale, hiring Joe Walton 1984: 9-5 loss to Indy 1985: Johnny Hector fumble picked up by Johnny Rembert for the clincher against NE in the WC game. 1986: The injuries. 1987: The strike 1988: Kansas City, we finished 8-7-1 and went 0-1-1 against 4 win KC. 1989: Joe must Go 1990: late game collapses at Cincy, at Buf, at Mia 1991: The blair Thomas fumble, getting screwed in Houston when Freeman chad that 1st down and O'Brien's INT deep in Hou territory hit the ground. 1992: Browning Nagle 1993: Cary Blanchard and the Thuirman Thomas fumble that wasn't called. 1994: The NE game following the fake spike, we had chances to win that game and the season would have turned out differently had we won. A huge turning point was a punt by the NE FG Kicker that was downed at our 1 when the Pats player cleeary stepped on the GL and it should have been a touchback. boomer would then throw an INT for a TD. 1995: Rich Kotite 1996: Rich Kotite 1997: Swept by Buffalo and the leon Johnson INT at Detroit. The Det DB was clearly juggling the ball when he went out of bounds. We should not have lost possession. 1998: Losing to Bal, Indy and SL- if we didn't we get homefield. Those 3 teams combined for 13 wins. The Mccaffery play in the tirle game, we had all the momentum and w/ 1 play Denver got it back for good. 1999: Vinny going down then turning to Rick Mirer. If we didn't waste so mnay games w/ Mirer we still would have been a playoff team. 2000: Al Groh 2001: The loss to NE at home and Buf at home. If we win either of those 2 we win the div and get the 1st rd bye. 2002: The Tory james INT w/ the score tied 10-10 late, Coels just stood and watched it when he could have broken it up. 2003: Chad getting hurt 2004: Doug Brien 2005: Chad getting hurt 2006: the backward pass at NE in the WC game 2007: Pete Kendall
