The Troll
Sweet. Freel blows slightly less than Gathright. And can play more than just the outfield. Hooray upgrades!
Gainzo
Sweet. Freel blows slightly less than Gathright. And can play more than just the outfield. Hooray upgrades! In my only appearance at Fenway this year Freel was hit in the head by an errant pick off attempt. I felt bad for the guy as he laid on the field for about 5 minutes. Can't say I've ever heard of Gathright. Is this a scrub for scrub trade?
vanDoug
Can't say I've ever heard of Gathright. Is this a scrub for scrub trade? Pretty much. Cubbies having bad luck. Zambrano out, now Aramis Ramirez out 4-6 weeks. Fortunately the cubs.com homepage reads "Cubs Focused on Moving Forward Despite Injuries" Thanks guys. Thor99
Gathright is a former Ray who, IIRC, was a pretty high draft pick. He has nearly world class speed, but pretty much sucks otherwise.

He was promising, once upon a time. Never lived up to it.
