Integrity28
Its been a couple of months since we've had the pleasure of watching a bunch of ex-jocks use their big words... I decided to split my viewing between the 2 channels while leading up to the game tonight. The following... is an account of my observations. NFL Network features 2-3 composed and well-mannered broadcasters. Each of them well-paced in their monologues and intelligent in how they articulate their points, observations and opinions. ESPN features 4 ex-jocks, and 1 googley-eyed mouthpiece whose specialty is referencing hip-hop terms from the 2nd Fat Boys album in 1987. Each of the ex-jocks is more of a caricature than the next. All of them interrupt each other and if you don't have an ear for it, all you hear is "ZABADEE DOO-BALLY DOO, BAM BIBBILY BOOOBILLY DOOBILLY DOW POP ZOW!!!" Except Tom Jackson who just sits there looking at the other clowns as though he wants to kill them with his bare hands.
