lamont_jordan_rules Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 ... likes the new stadium ... not giants name on building ... no blue & red seats ... likes how everything was lit up green and white ... ... commute from practice at hostra on long island to games in nj was a pain in the b*tt ... but you did what you had to do ... ... great that now they are all in same area of nj ... ... physically he's doing pretty well now ... keeping up with his kids keeps him active ... ... has joint pain still ... knee ... and particularly shoulder ... but manageable & no muscle pain ... ... came in 265 rookie year ... then brought weight up into the 280's to be better at D-line positions ... ... hosts brought up gasteneau ... ... perception vs. reality ... mark was a great passrusher ... but it was klecko who was THE MAN to get the job done ... he was the Go To guy on defense ... ... host believes klecko deserves the HOF ... ... discussed ricky jackson getting into hall ... does that encourage joe? ... yes, no doubt ... compared to borderline guys with ring who got in it's good to see someone with the numbers but didn't get the glory and accolades of a superbowl ... ... many voters now weren't around when joe played ... ... fun to talk about ... and it would be great ... but he's not holding up his life waiting for it ... ... discussed rex ... ... joe is humble guy ... so it wouldn't be how he is, but ... ... every team talks this way behind closed doors ... rex just has attitude of - why hold back from the media what i really believe ... ... likes how rex deflects pressure away from the players ... ... backing it up and winning is what matters ... ... his son in atlanta training camp ... ... danny is good athlete ... but small as a d-lineman ... ... trying as fb now ... ... catching on more and more ... ... likes the attitude of the coaching staff ... ... has tremendous hands ... one of his best attributes ... ... playing fb will extend his career if he can complete the transition ... just limited opportunities ... ... end of interview ... l_j_r Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
