Jetsfan80
Home Playoff Games: One I'm proud to say I was at that game. Jets 41, Colts 0. A little disappointed we only had one though. I forgot that the Jaguars game was the previous decade.
pfilippone
Decade in Review Believe it or not, the past decade has been good for Jets fans. This is because the 3 decades before that have sucked balls for the most part. The Jets have not exactly shined during the playoffs. In the past 28 years, 3 championship game appearances, all losses. Still, there have been some good seasons with some fun games to watch. Still hoping to witness a super bowl title.
Jetsfan80
Only nitpick I have is that this thread is a year late. If you consider 2010 part of the 2000's decade then you're looking at 11 years of Jets football in your analysis.

How many teams make the playoffs 6/11 years, and go through that many head coaching changes? BTW our average record is around 8.5-7.5 If you count Belichick as one of the head coaches then you might as well count Parcells as well. Belichick didn't become HC until Parcells officially stepped down, which occurred on Jan 3, 2000. BB stepped down a day later. Technically Belichick was a Jets head coach during the 2000's for less time than Parcells was. So to be truly accurate, we've had 6 head coaches from 2000-2010. 3 of them were in 2000 alone and 4 from 2000-2001.
