Jim Harbaugh to the 49ers

Per Rotoworld:

49ers agreed to terms with former Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh on a five-year, $25 million contract that makes him San Francisco's next head coach.

The Niners already have a top-13 defense and plenty productive running game (when Frank Gore is healthy), so they always gave Harbaugh his best chance at immediate success. What's missing, of course, is a franchise quarterback. Harbaugh coached QBs in Oakland in the early 2000s, and has effectively developed Josh Johnson (University of San Diego) and Andrew Luck (Stanford) in each of his last two stops. At least on paper, he's a perfect fit in San Francisco and should help the fantasy outlooks of most 49ers. Jan. 7 - 3:41 pm et
