These guys don't count nearly as much in the first year of their deals. Just because Holmes signed a 5 year $50M doesn't mean he counts $10M against the salary cap this year. It never works out like that in year 1 and with the cap situation we had I can't believe Tannenbaum (of all people) would front-load his cap number as much as possible.
