jetsrule128
The Jets on Tuesday afternoon released veteran cornerback Ellis Lankster for the second time this month. The move was announced on the NFL's daily transaction report. Lankster, who had been with the Jets since 2011 and played mostly as a special teams gunner, was initially cut on Sept. 1 before being re-signed 11 days later. He recorded two special teams tackles in Monday night's loss to the Bears. Lankster had played just one defensive snap total against the Packers and Bears since being brought back. The writing might have been on the wall when the Jets used journeyman Phillip Adams in their dime package against the Bears instead of Lankster. BroadwayJoe12
I would have been solid money that they would have sh*t-canned Adams after he blew his assignment on the crossing-route to Bennett? Would be nice if they were bringing up Enunwa, but not sure I see that in the cards for a while.

joewilly12
Call them up Idzik @adbrandt: Oh. RT @ESPNNFL Cowboys CB Mo Claiborne angrily left the team facility today when he found out he lost his starting job. The Cowboys have replaced Morris Claiborne with Orlando Scandrick as the starting corner opposite Brandon Carr. After learning of his demotion, Claiborne "stormed out of the facility" and skipped the Cowboys' walkthrough practice on Tuesday. The former No. 6 overall pick has nobody to blame but himself. He's flat-out terrible, and has been his entire three-year career. Jerry Jones even said Claiborne hasn't been worth the draft investment. Claiborne's demotion is disappointing for fantasy owners. He was an easy target for any receiver lining up opposite him.
