RutgersJetFan
Arum's conceding the MGM and a 60/40 split as of this AM. Certainly not a done deal considering Arum's track record in these negotiations but wow, this might finally happen for May.
JoeC36
Yay? I don't care nearly as much now as I did a few years ago. I'm sure I'll go watch it, but I'm kinda over it at this point.

It's every bit as good the matchup as it would have been a few years back. The reason this seems anticlimactic is because making the matchup has been excruciating. To me, after the back to back losses to Bradley and Marquez I wasn't as interested. Like I said I'll still go tk the bar and watch but I'm meh about it

Like I said I'll still go tk the bar and watch but I'm meh about it Bradley - Stop it. Marquez IV - I don't see how that fight reflects poorly on Manny. That was a fantastic fight and he got caught by the one guy that's given him a hard time (and beaten him) throughout his prime.

That's all well and good, but for a casual fan like me (I'll be the first to admit I'd rather watch mma than boxing) those back to back losses tainted it for me. You're well better equipped to break down a fight then I am, but from my perspective, and to me, the fight doesn't matter anymore

You're talking about maybe the biggest and most corrupt robbery in the history of the sport, right up there with Roy Jones at the Olympics and Whitaker/Chavez.
