WOW,who is coaching this team anyway?

Some Dolphins players believe the team needs to step up how they practice, particularly after their 23-13 home loss to the Houston Texans.

“We have to start practicing like it’s the game,” safety and defensive co-captain Yeremiah Bell told Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald. “We have to do that because so far, we’ve been playing a lot like we practice.”

A handful of players, some of whom asked not to be named, agreed that’s just how things have been in practice. In that regard, the winless Dolphins have been tortured in practice as well as games.

“We definitely have because some of the things that have been happening in practice have been happening in the game. And they’re not good things,” Bell said. “And they continue to show up in the game.”

“I definitely agree with that, we have a lot of mental mistakes in practice,” running back Daniel Thomas said, “and sometimes it carries on into the game so that’s something we have to work on.”

“It’s going to be a lot more intense this week,” Bell said. “Everybody realizes our game needs to go up a level. Everybody understands that because what we’re doing is not getting it done so far.
