LionelRichie
Sanchez was so bad this year I don't think the Jets could even get anything back in a trade. Redskins maybe?
Irish Jet
Manning or bust, Rex won't let go off his little chimichanga unless manning is available Agreed. I don't see Sanchez actually getting cut loose unless a big name is brought in, and by big name I sure as hell don't mean Matt ****ing Flynn. You don't trade for an injured player who hasn't seen the field in a year.

Unless he's one of the very greatest of all time. I'll volunteer for the ****ing neck transplant if I have to.
Lil Bit Special
He is going to be franchised and traded. It won't be his decision where to go. 14.4 mil is a risk for GB... unless teams are already willing to pay that... seems like a boatload for an unproven QB. So if it costs 2 1st rounders meanwhile he still doesn't have a timetable on when he can, you would do it?
Irish Jet
So if it costs 2 1st rounders meanwhile he still doesn't have a timetable on when he can, you would do it? No, but just like you or any sane person wouldn't do it, the Colts can't demand, especially as Luck will already be on the books by the time the trade is made. They'll be shopping him, the demand will be there, but if they're expecting anything like that, they can forget about getting rid.

Other teams don't need to pick up the 14.4 figure... its a trade and sign. Or they will pick up 2 1st rounders for a team that wants to make a more modest offer. I'm sure the Colts would be plenty happy having Manning and Luck on their roster next year so they can have a smooth transition from Manning to Luck when Luck is ready.
