Bugg
It's going to seat only 14,500 for hockey, but the location has the LIRR and every subway line in Brooklyn. Which is a lot like the Garden. It makes a world of sense. Also because Brooklyn is geographically part of Long Island there would be no violation of the Rangers' territory. I hate the Islanders, but this would make the rivalries they have with the Rangers and Devils that much better. Wang would have to be crazy not to do it. JohnnyHector
Nassau County and the Town of Hempstead blew smoke up Wang's a$$ an then pulled the rug out from under him. I don't begrudge him for moving anywhere at this point, but Brooklyn certainly beats moving out of the area entirely.
sg3
the two good things about possible brooklyn for the icelanders 1) nobody will continue to be an Icelander fan or go to their games except 2) for those sellouts when they play New York's hockey team, the New York Rangers for which it will be easier for Ranger fans to get to, fill up the place and boo the Icelanders off the ice whenever possible
