Interesting that they are talking about keeping 2 ILBs on the field on 3rd down. I think they may be right in that when the nickel and dime are on the field so much teams gameplan directly against them and take advantage of the weak link-ILBs that can't cover or a S that can't help as much in the box. Now that is almost the base D. I am not so sure that that they are looking to get smaller up front. The team need more speed sure, but WIlkerson and Coples are not exactly little DEs and I think that they are really hoping that Kenrick Ellis can fill the Jenkins role. WIlkerson is actually a size upgrade over Ellis.
