Jetsfan80
http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/1642/morning-ram-blings-a-different-approach ST. LOUIS -- During his postgame news conference after Sunday's 34-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, St. Louis Rams' coach Jeff Fisher dropped a seemingly funny line about his team's approach to the final dozen games after a 1-3 start. “We've put that behind us and we looked at this as if it was the home opener and we just had a poor preseason so, we've got 11 games left on the schedule,” Fisher said. It'd be hard to blame Fisher if that was exactly the message he gave his team. Awful performances against San Francisco and Dallas had everyone doing their best to erase the memory of those 24-point beatdowns. From talking to players in the locker room, it sounds as though that really was the message Fisher has preached as he tries to get his team to turn the page. He was not joking. “Yeah, those first four were just preseason games," quarterback Sam Bradford said. "I think we've played eight preseason games. Any time you win a season opener there's going to be some things that you do well and some things that you need to improve. We'll go in tomorrow and look at the film and try to get ready for Houston next week.” Given the way the first quarter of the season played out, who am I to question that approach? Whatever it takes to wipe the slate clean and start over. We will find out shortly if it is truly effective.
T0mShane
Then after four years of driving the team into the ground, he can simply watch everyone else around him get fired, then declare that he's getting a do-over. Basic protocol.

Bleedin Green
Brian Schottenheimer, instant scapegoat! Seems like that is the only plausible reason he was hired in the first place.
