In the right scenario he could flourish
JiFtheOracle
I dont understand how he makes so much money? He's never played a full season and it's not like when he's healthy he lights the world on fire. QB might have something to do with it but he seems like he's seriously over paid. That said, he seems perfect for the Enunwa role
Patriot Killa
How old is he now 28..30? He was young when he signed with the Rams..
whodeawhodat
We have Amaro and Enunwa, dont think we should spend money here.

heymangold
It's been widely publicized that the TE position isn't one of emphasis in Gailey's offense. No need to spend money there, especially when Enunwa played pretty damn well. We should be looking for a 3rd wide receiver that can actually play. Gas2No99
In addition to Cook, Rams also cut DE Chris Long and ILB Jame Laurenitis (29 yo 7 year vet, all time leading Rams tackler) Cook is worth a kick of the tires because despite what others proclaim that Gailey does "feature" the TE, Scott Chandler was pretty effective with the Bills in Chan Chan's offense. He was definitely effective when he played against the Jets up until his injury. Mehta also had a quip in the paper Q&A (read it on Rotoworld) that the CS'issue with Amaro was that he was TOO SOFT and too "slow" to pick up the playbook, thus in roster spot jeopardy. Ideally Amaro would be a MISMATCH wet dream in the slot and flanked out vs. DBs in Gailey's offense, but it's merely his speculation & opinion. Laurenitis, I think, is worth a try. He'd be an excellent lockerroom veteran with natural instincts who won't command a significant long term salary. If we don't spend a premium draft pick (1st 3 rounds) on a LB, the former Nittany Lion could be a stopgap; The CAVEAT being his speed - IIRC, he's not the fastest hamster on the wheel - and may not fit with the CS' philosophy of wanting to add MORE SPEED to the front 7. thoughts?
