Well everyone likes to bring up the Jets soft schedule in 2015, the Patriots played a Similiar schedule .( just because they thrived last year, doesn't mean that is going to be the case against a tougher schedule in 2016). Now he's missing four games due to suspension. As Tom Brady ages ( goes bald) it's only a matter of time before for his Wife files for divorce from him. Once that happens Tom Brady life starts to spiral downwards . ( starts hanging around with the Gronk fulltime( wing man) - looking at Joe Namath/ Suzy Kolber type of incident. But the difference is the Pats went 12-4, won their 8th straight AFCE title and played in their 5th straight AFCCG. The Jets missed the playoffs for the 5th straight year. No doubt the Patriots have dominated the Afc East, and been Afc contenders to win a championship for years now. ( benefits of having one of the top Qb's) All last year success , and team past success has no bearing on 2016 season. Teams rise and fall every year. One of these years one of the Afc East teams will rise up , and claim the Afc East. One of these years Tom Brady skills will start to slip. ( can happen at any point ) Will it be this year? Don't know but until we start to see Brady game slipping, they have to be the favorites to win the Afc East/ legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
