Rich Cimini   ESPN Staff Writer

At the "NFL on CBS" media day, the consensus among the network's top analysts is that Sam Darnold should be the Jets' opening-day starter. Bruce Arians, Boomer Esiason and Phil Simms all said Darnold should get the nod over Teddy Bridgewater and Josh McCown. Tony Romo hedged a bit, but was effusive in his praise of the rookie, saying he has "rare" qualities. Simms picked Darnold because of his draft status and solid preaseason, but he raved about Bridgewater. "I don't want to create headlines here, but if they were both rookies, you would start Teddy Bridgewater," Simms said. "He's just more confident and he's got great feet now. And he's moving well. He looks stronger and he's throwing it better."

Lots of good news lately for the Jets, and I feel like a wet blanket... But I'm still so worried about the Oline..

Nothing to worry about...there should be only concern over years, and years of inadequate oversight of the organization.
