PFF Jet Scores, Week 3

Only a few changes worth mentioning:

- Jamal Adams must have impressed the PFF eggheads, because he zoomed up from #56 to #3 in the safety rankings in week 3. He has a total score of 82.9 and his 90.1pass coverage score is tops in the league. Maye continues to stand out at #13 with a score of 75.

- Neville Hewitt is one of the few bright spots this season. He now ranks 19th among linebackers with a score of 71.5. His pass rushing score is 83.7, fifth highest among all linebackers.

- Leonard Williams continues to languish at the bottom of the DL rankings, scoring a below average 55.1. Henry Anderson has been nearly as bad with a season score of 57.1. Fatukasi has surprised with an above average score of 68.8. Maybe we’ll see more of him.

- Darryl Roberts is now the 98th ranked CB in the NFL with a score of 43.9.

- Except for Bell, every single starter on offense can be described thusly: bottom dweller with scores in the 50s or worse. That includes Robby, Crowder, Griffin and of course the whole OL. Shell, who was respectable after two weeks, saw his score drop to 56. Bell has an above average score of 68.9, 22nd among HBs.

How are Hairston and Cashman grading?

They both dropped a little in week 3. Hairston went from rank 39 to 42. He still has an above average score of 63.7, but it’s his run defense (78) gets higher marks than his pass coverage (59.9).

Cashman’s score dropped from 63.6 (rank 32) to 60.4 (38).

Interesting both seem to be playing well to my eyes, Thanks for the update.

Nobody should take PFF scores as gospel.  If you know football then you know what’s going on.

Jamal has been great at sometimes and very average most the time.

Hewitt and Cashman have filled in better than expected.

Willams and Anderson are Jags.  We never should have paid Anderson and Williams has already punched his ticket unless he pulls off one of the greatest 13 game stretch in history.

Oline trash.  The funny thing about with the veterans on that line you’d thing that they would be at least respectable.  Mediocre at worst.  They are horrible.  Makes you long for the days with Mangold, brick, Faneca etc.

This team is poorly put together and poorly coached.  The only one that gives me hope is Darnold and I still believe he can be great.
