It is better if the Seahawks win their division vs be the 5th seed and play the NFC east in the wildcard

Contrary to popular belief it was bad that the Rams beat the Buccaneers. Now Seahawks are slotted in the 5th spot primed to easily beat the NFC east opponent and sail out of the wildcard round.

We're going to need the 5-5 Bears to catch them in order for Seattle to completely miss the playoffs. 

Chicago is on a 4 game losing streak but I'm hoping they can turn it around and get within 1 game of Seattle and apply NFC pressure. 

I already seriously dislike this 7 team playoffs structuring (waters down the regular season race imo) and now Seattle is almost guaranteed to not miss the playoffs...

Why not hope they get the Wild Card and finish 6th/7th?  Best of both worlds.  Tough matchup whoever they face, AND they'd be on the road.
